Measures to prevent
1. Before installation,the marble shower walls should be treated with Ouya osmosis protective agent (front, five or six sides, depending on engineering requirements) to prevent the marble shower base from inhaling too much water, preventing the water from the front of the white marble kitchen or the groundwater source from infiltrating into the stone. The cement mortar underneath to avoid the penetration of alkaline metal ions from the cement mortar into the stone, causing Baihua.
2. Select the gap filling material suitable for the stone and apply it according to the correct construction method. Good quality joint filler material and correct application method can prevent the occurrence of Baihua in the joint.
3. When blending cement mortar, use low water ash ratio or add water reducing agent. Reduce the excess water to avoid the occurrence of a white.
4. Brushing the bottom of the stone at the bottom of the stone to enhance the adhesion between the stone and the cement, to prevent the metal ions from being dissolved by a large amount of water to form a white surface.
5. Use non-polluting stone, such as avoiding the use of sea sand with more calcium, magnesium and sodium ions, and avoid using groundwater with more minerals as mixing water, reducing the source of metal ions and reducing the chance of occurrence of Baihua.
Stone Baihua treatment method
Whether it is returning alkali, pan-salt or the treatment of Baihua, we should strictly follow the steps and methods of “water cut→dry→clean→protective”.
1, water cut
The water to be broken here refers not only to visible water but to all sources of water and moisture. Mopping the water, direct water contact, water source on the back of the marble shower base, soil moisture, rain, high humidity, etc., all the details must be considered.
2, marble shower walls dry
Open the doors and windows, ventilate, dry naturally, and pump with a pump. The power of the pump is as high as possible, blown with a blower, enhance air circulation, floor heating, lamp or flame spray heating, moisture absorption with quicklime, etc., depending on the site conditions. These methods are applicable, and the only purpose is to keep the white marble kitchen completely dry.
3, cleaning
In fact, if the water source can be effectively cut off, the cleaning of alkali, white, and pan-salt becomes very simple. Use the granite cleaning agent C116 and clean the stone according to the general cleaning steps.
4, protection
After the marble shower walls is cleaned, it must be painted. It is recommended to use Ouya osmotic protective agent. It should be noted that the protection does not completely eliminate the problem of white marble kitchen. Even the best protective agent only reduces the water absorption rate of the marble shower base. In general, the protective effect reduces the water absorption rate of the stone by more than 75%, which is qualified; if it is more than 85%, even if it is excellent, the chances of returning alkali, pan-salt and white will be greatly reduced.
